Where do I begin? This month has been full of adventures. Ronald did discover an unsolved mystery at our house much to his delight. At Thanksgiving Marvin, some of his brother-in-laws(Danan, ?),and his friend Jake helped pull our pump out of the ground twice. First time they put in a new pump, but that didn't keep it from pumping every hour, so the second time they replace all the wiring. But it was still pumping every hour. So Ronald decided after talking with Jerry Foote that there must be a leak in the pipe between the well house and our house. He was figuring he would have to have a backhoe dig it all up next summer. However, one day he got working with the iron filter and heard water trickling down a hose in the washer drain. He came to realize there was something wrong with the Iron Filter and that was why the pump kept pumping every hour. He would not have discover that if he had not been home from work with his torn rotator cuff.
On December 18th we went back to see Dr. Paul Gurney(the Kinesiologist in Orem, Utah) after I got off work. We left about 1:30 P.M. to go out there. The nice thing is that now Ronald can drive some of the way. Most of the other trips I had to drive both ways. I got quite sleepy a few times since this fall we went after I got off work in the lunch kitchen at Roosevelt Jr. High. On Dec. 18th Dr. Gurney recommended that Ronald do some physical therapy here in the basin, for a month, so that he could do more than what Dr. Gurney had assigned him to do. He said he has frozen shoulder, so he needs more of a workout than Dr. Gurney could do only seeing him once a week. The last few trips out we have had to watch for when the snow storms were coming and reschedule a couple of times. But we have been blessed to have good roads to travel on. Ronald was hoping to be back to work on January 5, 2015 because his sick leave runs out. But he is not quite there yet.
The physical therapist (? Sealy) has been working with him since the week of Christmas. He went in 2 different days before Christmas. He has the motion in his arm he just doesn't have the strength to lift his arm up all the way above his head by himself. So that is what they are giving him exercises for.

Blogging at Last
Since Jeanne is home for Thanksgiving I decide to seriously start a blog since I enjoy reading all of the family blogs! She is my blog tutor. So it has been a very interesting and unique Thanksgiving. Jeanne came from Logan on Wednesday even though her original plan was to come on Tuesday. But due to a storm she decided to wait. Jeanne and I baked pie and pumpkin roll after she came in the afternoon on Wednesday. My last day of work was on Tuesday in the Jr. High lunch room. Grandpa has been off work since July due to a torn rotator cuff on his left arm. But we are now seeing progress with the rotator cuff healing. So Grandpa does exercises every day to break up the scar tissue in his arm as he has been instructed to do by his Kineseologist (Dr. Gurney) in Orem.
Marvin and Ariane came on Thanksgiving Day during the morning and visited. It was fun because everyone is so busy we don't get together much. Then they left and went to have Dinner with Lindzee's Mom's and Dad. Devin and Marianne went with the Clayburn's this year. Jeanne, Grandpa, and I finished preparing dinner. After we ate the three of us went for a two mile walk back and forth over our road. Then we watched a movie Jeanne had brought with her. The day after Thanksgiving Marvin came and strengthened the anti-freeze in Jeanne's car. He also changed the oil in our Taurus (Ford). Then Jake Price and his Brother-In-Law Dannon came and helped pull the pump out of our well. It has been acting up lately, and needed help. After pulling it out Grandpa decided he had better go to Vernal and buy a new pump at LOWE'S. They put the pump back in, and it pumped water. Marvin had to go work on a truck at work. After they left the multibreaker kept turning the pump off. Grandpa decided it was shorting out down in the well, and they would have to pull the pump out again. So we ended up with no running water for almost two days. Marvin, Jake, and Dannon came back on Saturday and pulled the pump out again. Grandpa went to Vernal again in the morning before they came back to buy some new electrical wire to replace the old wire going down to the pump. They pulled it out and fixed it putting it back down the hole in only an hour or an hour and a half. We are soooooooooooooo thankful for runningggggggg waterrrrrrrrrrr!
